With many publishers, the person you speak with prior to signing your contract is just a salesman. Once you're signed with them, you never get to speak to that person again. Instead, your project is handed off to a project manager, who serves as a liaison between you and the production team.
With Emerald Lake Books, the person you have your initial calls will remain in contact with you throughout the life of your project (and beyond!)
At various stages in the process, different people will be working on your book. However, you will always have access to speak directly to the people responsible for the work, to get your questions answered. Our intent is to avoid having the answers you're looking for filtered through a third party.
